There are lots (and I mean lots) of at 永久脫毛 which personally I wasn’t drawn to. When it comes to lasers and intense skincare treatments I am just one of those particular those who prefers to get a professional to work their magic on me, instead of attempting to become one by obtaining a kit from my local pharmacy. I went to a clinic within my hometown that had recently opened for some treatments.
I visited about 2 sessions, but didn’t see any results – AT ALL. So, it was fair to say I wasn’t going to waste any further money. Strike one. FYI – I understand those who have had treatments of IPL done (mainly all Asian/Indian kinds of skin) and I have already been told it requires lots of sessions to view results. I are also told by my current laser technician (and head trainer & educator of Polaris Hair Laser Removal) that IPL fails to focus on Indian skin and contains short-term benefits. It basically isn’t the very best laser for too long term hair-free fuss.
The next occasion round, I decided to go for a YAG laser but to my luck, my technician had blagged her way into making me think she was doing me a favour. While in reality, her what are known as YAG laser was much more of an IPL treatment then other things. I can tell you which it made my hair a little fainter, but nothing drastic – and I had at least 6 sessions. Yet again, I wasted not just my period in travel but lots of money! Strike two.
Within the last 5 months or so I actually have been going to a lovely laser technician, who lucky for me, is based in the same county as me! I needed told her each of the problems I actually have had previously with laser hair removal and she provided her honest and professional advice. She explained for me that IPL isn’t very effective (especially on Asian skin) for 永久脫毛. It really works whilst you are receiving it done but give it per year roughly and you will see your the growth of hair coming back. The penetration of the laser isn’t as deep and doesn’t target the hair follicle to the extent as a YAG laser does.
I then explained the so-called YAG laser treatment I used to be getting before visiting her. That is when she did a bit digging (in their free time) and informed me that I had been missold my laser treatment. The laser which I was getting done was more much like IPL when compared to a proper YAG laser. It had been much more of a diode – basically which means that I wasn’t going to get the identical results has I might have using a proper or must i say real YAG laser!
She then informed me all about her laser. The laser she uses is the Long Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser by Polaris Medical. She is a professional educator/trainer with this laser and has been around the business for two decades – she basically knows her shiz.
This laser can be used hair removal of hair on all kinds of skin, light to dark. One of many features of this laser is the fact its melanin absorption is quite low. Melanin is what gives the skin it’s colour. The greater melanin halbfl have, the darker the skin and the other way around. As a result of it’s low absorption of it, there is very little risk of the skin to obtain damaged by hyper/hypo pigmentation. Because of this the long pulsed Nd:Yag lasers is idea for for hair removal on medium to dark skin!
I need to go with clean, lotion/potion free, make-up free, perfume/deoderant free and hair free. Yep, so that you have to shave before hand (everywhere you want to target!). This is therefore the laser can arrive at the folicle without the hair strands getting in the manner.
I have learnt the difficult way by accidentally having some perfume on my own neck and also the laser burning my skin – luckily it wasn’t that bad (my Elizabeth Adren Eight Hour Cream sorted me out!). However, this really is common and can happen.
During Laser Treatment
Through the laser session, the part/s of your body are sectioned off (as you can tell in the picture above). The 永久脫毛 can be used with an air-conditioning type cooling tube that is hovered on the area of your skin because it is getting lasered – this can be so that you don’t notice the heat. The sensation of having this done is like someone poking you with a needle. Based on your pain threshold and/or the area you possibly will not feel it at all.
